The best one will be the one you like, the one you properly configure, the one you keep updated vigilantly, etc... and use with common sense and safe browsing habits.

You will know it's the best when you are not infected and it's time to renew your subscription.

There are plenty of websites that rate the programs. I would suggest you look there instead of asking people on a public board to give you what will most certainly be biased opinions or pre-made spamlists of products.

i judge by my experience. my parents used to have kaspersky on their computer and it worked really well. now they use NOD32 and it's on every computer in my office, so far hadn't had problems with viruses. i used to have norton and i think it's reliable as well, but norton is a bit slow while kaspersky and nod works fast and don't make computer to hang
